This happened about 10 years ago, but is still one of my favourite experiences.

I was with my girlfriend for about 3 years. I'd known her a bit in the past. In our early 20s she lived with her boyfriend in the flat below a good friend and we socialised. I bumped into her a few times over the years. We had a lot of friends in common.
